Hugh Wallace is a founding partner of Douglas Wallace Architects and is now a Director of Douglas Wallace Consultants. Hugh have a well-developed and clear knowledge of the hospitality and leisure sector after 35 years in the creation and delivery of hotels, spas and resorts. He is able to draw on his practical knowledge and experience to work alongside the client to assist and define a project. Hugh is responsible for the successful development and delivery of the most appropriate and effective solution for each individual project.

As a well-travelled individual Hugh is acutely aware of what hotel brands bring the customer experience and their importance in an ever confusing hospitality world. His success in achieving this aim has been reflected through the numerous award winning hotel designs completed for his clients. Two years ago he was awarded a lifetime achievement award by the Institute of Designers for this contribution to the design industry. He is a judge of Home Of The Year a RTE production now in its fifth year and the presenter of the Great House Revival, again an RTE television production.
