Everyone knows the 4 star Red Cow Moran Hotel on the Naas Road in Clondalkin. It’s a landmark. The gateway between Dublin city and every other part of Ireland. It’s been there forever and it’s as reassuring as a welcome home sign.
The Red Cow is a phenomenon and a synonymous Dublin Hotel built in 1996 and part of the successful Moran Hotel Group. The Red Cows’ existing hotel boasts 315 executive style bedrooms, 4 long-term apartments, 21 event spaces, a choice of bars and Tom’s Table and a state of the art fitness suite.
Douglas Wallace were delighted to be instructed by The Moran Hotel Group to work on their iconic Red Cow Moran Hotel on the Naas Road to add an additional 140 bedrooms along with conference rooms and new breakfast / restaurant.

Our Role
The project involved the addition of two floors on the old structure along with the transformation of the entire facade to ensure the iconic status of the Red Cow continues in the future.
Douglas Wallace completed the planning and fire cert applications in late 2018 and are now developing the tender pack information including specifications which will go out to contractors in Q4 2019 to commence on site H2 2020.
Using our expertise and knowledge in the hotel sector our approach is one of functionality in both front and back of house to ensure seamless service for the hotel guests.
Working closely with the inhouse management team we are ensuring that disruption to the hotel operation is kept to an absolute minimum during the construction stage and that the project is delivered via a well thought through and methodical project process.
