Working in conjunction with spa consultants Espa Douglas Wallace were asked to create a destination spa for the Baltic region, comprising of 30,000 sq feet over six floors. The spa needed to be amenable for both hotel guests and private members with shared and separate facilities harmoniously co-existing around a feature sculptural spiral staircase. Experiences include two indoor pools, an external roof top vitality pool, two saunas, steam room, sanarium, fitness studio and twenty two Treatment rooms.

The interior theme draws from the character and influence of the retained facade with the selection of decorative wall-coverings, evocative metalwork and rich walnut tones complimenting accents of amber and claret along with subtle hues of bronze and gold. Guests arrive on Level 2 to a dramatic double-height reception space which sits alongside an integrated retail and café area. A manicure | pedicure studio sits above within an elegant glazed mezzanine. This level also boasts an impressive fitness studio along with an elliptically shaped chi-studio. In the body of the main building an elliptical, spiraling glass and gold leaf staircase unites all six levels; this is off-set by a stunning bespoke crystal sculpture.
